I liked this so much I read it in one go and will probably start reading it again soon. I hope that's enough of a recommendation because I find it a bit hard to say much more. I love the London of Neverwhere which is an interesting mix of everything that’s ‘left-over’ from London: history, legends, auras attached to names, disused tunnels and hidden spaces, abandoned buildings and people who ‘slip through the cracks’. I liked the characters, sometimes a lot. And the plot, hang on, let me see if I can remember what it was... oh, yes the plot was there and it held all that other nice stuff together pretty reasonably well.
